“Uz-drawing”（ウズ・ドローイング）は、内部に組み込まれた“巻き構造”のモジュールを動かすことで模様やかたちが変化する、インタラクティブなアートであり、グラフィックであり、プロダクトです。本作は、モノと人との関係性を再考し、インタラクションを通じて、新たな体験を生み出すことを目指したアートプロダクトです。

“感覚のドローイング装置”
静かに思考を巡らせたいとき、自分とそっと向き合いたいとき——。
「意味のない線を紙に滑らせるように」本作に触れることで、美しさを見出す行為が無意識の操作の中でかたちとなって現れる。その瞬間、“Uz‑drawing”はユーザーの鏡となり、“問い”そのものが日常に立ち上がります。
一方向的な体験を超えて、ユーザー自身が操作し、関わり、問い直すことで、物質と感情、日常と創造をやわらかく鮮明に接続します。

この作品は、既にある道具や素材を組み合わせてつくるというブリコラージュ的プロセスを踏んでいます。身近なロール紙や紙テープを観察する中で、巻きの構造の“可変性”にユーザーとの双方向な関係を築く可能性を見出しました。着色などの加工をあえてせず、紙テープの柔らかさや発色の良さをそのまま生かしました。

“Uz-drawing” is an interactive artwork, graphic, and product whose patterns and forms change by moving the internal “winding structure” modules embedded within it.
This art product reconsiders the relationship between objects and people, and aims to create new experiences through interaction.

“A Sensory Drawing Device”
When you want to quietly let your thoughts wander,when you want to gently face yourself—
By touching this work, the act of discovering beauty takes form through unconscious gestures,
as if sliding a meaningless line across a sheet of paper.
In that moment, “Uz-drawing” becomes a mirror of the user, and the question itself emerges into everyday life.
Moving beyond one-directional experiences,this work allows users to operate, engage, and question anew.
Through these actions, it softly yet vividly connects matter and emotion, everyday life and creation.

This work follows a bricolage-like process of combining existing tools and materials.In observing familiar paper rolls and paper tape, I discovered the possibility of building an “interactive” relationship with the user in the “variability” of the roll structure.I dared not to use any coloring or other processing, but instead made use of the softness and coloration of ready-made paper tape as it is.
