“渦巻き”構造を活用したインタラクティブなアートプロダクト。ユーザーは砂に指で絵を描くように、直接作品に触れ色や形を変化させることで自己の感覚と対話するような体験を楽しむことができる。壁に掛ける、平置きするなど、インテリアとして自由に設置できる設計。

この作品は、既にある道具や素材を組み合わせてつくるというブリコラージュ的プロセスを踏んでいます。身近なロール紙や紙テープを観察する中で、巻きの構造の“可変性”にユーザーとの“インタラクティブ”な関係を築く可能性を見出しました。着色などの加工をあえてせず、既製品の紙テープの柔らかさや発色の良さをそのまま生かしました。

This is an interactive art product that utilizes a “swirl” structure. Users can enjoy the experience of interacting with their senses by directly touching the artwork and changing its color and shape, just like drawing a picture in the sand with their fingers. It is designed to be hung on a wall or placed flat, and can be freely installed as interior decoration.

This work follows a bricolage-like process of combining existing tools and materials.In observing familiar paper rolls and paper tape, I discovered the possibility of building an “interactive” relationship with the user in the “variability” of the roll structure.I dared not to use any coloring or other processing, but instead made use of the softness and coloration of ready-made paper tape as it is.
